About TNAV

TNAV, the Flanders Water Technology Network was created in 2003 with the support of  IWT-Vlaanderen, the Flemish government agency for Innovation by science and technology.  The network welcomes any company involved in water technologies,  either directly or indirectly, and with operations in Belgium.

The raison d’être of the network is improved competitiveness of member companies through (the promotion of) innovation. TNAV also  supports and counsels companies looking for financial funding and advice from e.g. IWT. Together with its members TNAV is actively involved in several research projects and strives for cooperation with other organisations wherever possible. As technology watch, TNAV anticipates developments in water related technologies
TNAV is proud to count a growing number of extraordinary members within its ranks, most of these being research centres (university colleges and institutes,  such as VITO i.e. the Flanders Public Institute for Technological Development).  The Flow of Technology-baseline chosen by TNAV would be meaningless, if not for their input, culminating in the annual Academia-Meets-Industry event.

Currently (May 2011) TNAV has 90 members, 13 ordinary member companies (the technology providers), 53 associate members and 24 extraordinary members.
